KPynq: A Work-Efficient Triangle-Inequality based K-means on FPGA

  • Propose a novel FPGA design for K-means called KPynq.
  • Implement the design on Xilinx Pynq-Z1 FPGA board.
  • KPynq achieves speedup (up to 4.2x) and energy-effciency (up to 218x) compared with the CPU-based standard K-means.
